When we started designing our future home, we felt the advantages of custom house plans outweighed the disadvantages. We wanted a house plan that would fit our family lifestyle. We poured through thousands of stock home plans, without any success. People pass comment on a regular basis that when you build a cubby house, you do not need cubby house plans. Is this really true. What would the play house or the tree house look like if there were no plans followed. An interesting thought.
